Module 8
Purpose
The purpose of the course is that the student acquires a scientific perspective on early intervention and shows this by the production and presentation of an independent study. It is the ambition of the department to offer each student the possibility to participate in ongoing research within the department and/or together with researchers in national and international networks.
Students will gain an indepth understanding of the research process and will independently plan and implement an empirically based research study and report its results in a research report and/or scientific journal.

Content The student acquires advanced experiences in the research process and further develops the ability to identify and analyze research problems, design and carry out an empirical data collection, analyze and interpret the results of the study
The student experiences training in practicing methods for data collection in intervention research, in analyzing data with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods and reporting the study
